Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president, congratulated Al Ahly players after defeating Tunisia’s Esperance 1-0 at Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals. 

El Khatib praised the players’ performance and the fighting spirit during the game.

El Khatib stressed to the players that they must maintain this performance in the second leg, in order to secure qualification to the final.
